Box Score Ashland University's volleyball team will be the No. 5 seed in the 2015 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament following a 3-2 (20-25, 25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 15-10) loss on Saturday (Nov. 14) at GLIAC South Division-champion Findlay.
The Eagles finish the regular season at 19-10 overall and 12-6 in the GLIAC after their third straight loss and fourth defeat in five November matches, all on the road. AU will play at the No. 4-seed Grand Valley State Lakers (19-10, 13-5) on Wednesday (Nov. 18) at 7 p.m.
Earlier this season, on Oct. 10, Ashland defeated Grand Valley State at Kates Gymnasium, 3-1.
On Saturday, junior outside hitter Casey Clark led the offense with 17 kills while adding nine digs. Junior outside hitter Alli Cudworth had 15 kills and seven digs, while junior setter Mallory Slyder recorded 45 assists and 10 digs. Freshman libero Kaitlin Bean had a team-high 11 digs.
