Steve Paramore

AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

This is Paramore's fourth season as volunteer assistant coach for the Eagle women's golf team. In 2003-04, he was the AU women's golf team's head coach.
He also is the public address announcer for various Eagle home sporting events.

BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

At Florida Southern, Paramore was a four-time NCAA Division II GCAA All-American in men's golf, and member of the 2000 Division II national-championship team.

PERSONAL

Married for 19 years to Kerre Devaul-Paramore, and they have two daughters - Klaira (junior on the AU women's golf team) and Mazie. The family resides in Ashland, Ohio.
He has taught and coached in the Ashland City School District since 2004, and currently serves as the district's Superintendent.
Paramore is a member of the Florida Southern Athletics Hall of Fame, Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame and Ashland County Sports Hall of Fame.
He is a 1999 graduate of Ashland High School, where he won an individual and team Ohio Division I state golf championship.
Paramore has won the 1999 Ohio Junior championship, 2003 Ohio Amateur championship, and 2005 and 2017 Ohio Amateur Public Links championship.
