  • She previously was an alumni office intern, athletic department assistant and kid's activities and student staff director for her alma mater, Hillsdale.
  • Sayles' other previous work experience includes event management intern for Gus Macker of Jackson (Mich.) and member of the youth advisory committee for the Jackson (Mich.) Community Foundation.
  • She also was a track and field athlete for the Chargers, qualifying for NCAA Division II indoor nationals four consecutive seasons.
