Christy Grundy

AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

Grundy is in her 11th year at Ashland University, having begun her career in Student Affairs. Over the years, she has held various positions, including Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct.
After transitioning to Institutional Advancement, Grundy initially served as the Manager of Prospect Research and Strategy. She now plays a vital role in fundraising for the Athletic Department, focusing on securing support for scholarships, state-of-the-art facilities, travel opportunities, training equipment, nutrition programs, and mental health resources.

BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

Grundy began her career at National City Bank through their Management Trainee program and later managed several branches in the Cleveland area.

PERSONAL

Grundy holds an undergraduate degree in Health Education and Sociology from Baldwin Wallace University and an MBA from Ashland University.
She and her husband, Shawn, live in Ashland and have four children: Grace, Collin, Jillian, and Anna.
Grundy serves as the Treasurer for the Ashland County Humane Society.
