Cade Cracas

AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

Cracas is in his first full year as the Ashland athletic department's communications Graduate Assistant, after joining as a GA in January of 2025.
He served for three years as the department's lead play-by-play broadcaster.
Prior to joining the athletic department, he worked closely with the Journalism and Digital Media Department as a Sports Director (88.9 WRDL), Sports Producer (AUTV), and Sports Editor (The Collegian).
While with The Collegian, he helped lead his staff to "Best Sports Reporting" in the 2022-23 Academic Year from the Ohio News Media Association.
In 2024, he was lauded by the Intercollegiate Broadcast System as a finalist for "Best Football Play-by-Play" alongside some of the nation's best collegiate broadcasters.

Former broadcaster for the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League.
Former beat and sideline reporter for Akron City FC of the United Soccer League, League Two.
