Ashland Women Lose To Sixth-Seeded Cardinals

Ashland University's women's tennis team lost its second match of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday (Oct. 26).

The Eagles lost 4-1 to No. 6-seeded Saginaw Valley State.

Junior Camille Ringot was Ashland's only player to win a singles match. She won her match at No. 3 in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.

In doubles play, the Eagles won one match. Ringot and senior Allison Brooks won at No. 3 doubles, 6-2.

The Eagles will conclude play at the GLIAC Championships on Sunday (Oct. 27) at 9 a.m. in Midland, Mich.
