Biography

2017-18: Earned NWCA All-Academic recognition (3.20-4.00 cumulative grade-point average)...Had a 13-11 record with 36 takedowns, four two-point near falls, three four-point near falls, and one major decision. 

2016-17: Redshirted...Garnered Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Excellence honors (cumulative grade-point average of 3.50-4.00).

2015-16: Earned GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors following a rookie season in which he finished 11-6 with 24 takedowns and two pins...Also was second-team All-GLIAC.

High School: Personal record in wrestling was 211-18, to go with 808 career takedowns and 240 takedowns in one season...Won a state title in 2013, was a four-time district and regional champion, four-time all-state selection in wrestling and two-time all-district for soccer...Received a total of 11 varsity letters between wrestling, soccer and track.

Personal: Son of Jerry and Tara Fenner.
