Biography

At Ashland: James was named to the 2012 GLIAC honorable mention list...she posted four Top 10 finishes in 2011-12...James tied for 10th at the GLIAC Championships and Gannon's Michael Corbett Invitational...she was seventh at Findlay's William "Bing," Beall Fall Classic and 10th at the Classic Club Invitational in Palm Desert, Calif...James was named to the 2011 All-GLIAC First Team…she earned 2010 All-GLIAC honorable mention laurels…in 2010 she was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team...last season James was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team (GPA of 3.50 or higher)...the senior is a managment information systems major.

High School/Summer: James was the 2011 WOSGA Amateur First Flight champion…she played on a Walsh Jesuit team that was the state runner-up in 2008 and the state champion in 2007…James was named to the 2008 Northeast Ohio Independent League First Team…named to the All-Ohio Academic Team in 2008…left Walsh Jesuit with the school record for nine-hole scoring record (38, 2007)…lettered three times in golf in high school.

Personal: The senior is the daughter of Don and Ronda James…James earned the AU sophomore award for information systems majors in 2010-11…she is a member of Delta Mu Delta, the honorary business society and is a member of Psi Chi, the psychology honorary society…is a member of the College of Business and Economics (COBE) Scholars.
