Following the 2018 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, Ashland University's men's outdoor track and field team is at No. 14 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings, released on Tuesday (May 8) afternoon.
The Eagle men slide down five spots from last week's rankings. They have nine marks which would qualify for 2018 NCAA Division II nationals, May 24-26 in Charlotte, N.C., and the release for the official D-II nationals selections will be May 15 at 6 p.m. on NCAA.com.
Since the start of the 2010 season, Ashland's men have been in the USTFCCCA outdoor Top 25 on 75 occasions.
Select Ashland men and women will compete at various last-chance meets in the coming days.
