Eagles Improve To 9 Auto, 33 Provisional Efforts For National Meet

Ashland University's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams, ranked second and sixth in Division II, respectively, have nine automatic and 33 provisional marks for the 2015 NCAA Division II Championships on May 21-23 in Allendale, Mich.

Senior Drew Windle maintains the country's fastest time in the men's 800-meter run (1:47.80), and junior Jamie Sindelar still has the second-farthest women's shot put distance (16.12 meters/52-feet-10¾) in D-II.

Ashland's athletes looking to improve on previous marks, or attempting to make lists for the first time this spring, will have opportunities at "last chance meets" at Aquinas on Wednesday (May 6), Toledo and Hillsdale on Thursday (May 7), and Akron and Grand Valley State on Friday (May 8) and Saturday (May 9).
