Track Team Looks Ready For Conference Meet

The AU track and field teams put together another strong showing on Saturday (Feb. 22) at the Kent State Tuneup. This was AU's final event before the GLIAC Championships next weekend.

Macy Caldwell won the 60 hurdles (8.74) and was third in the high jump (5-5). Mikaela Bush was the runner-up in the 1000 (3:04.58) and Jennifer Foster was second in the high jump (5-8.75).

Shaunisha Winter was second in the triple jump (37-1) and Kim Habegger was second in the weight throw (64-10.75). Delainey Phelps was third in the mile (5:04.50).

In the unseeded high jump Rebecca Koval was first (5-3).

For the men, Brian Baum led the field in the 3000 (8:25.42). In the 60 hurdles, Elijha Owens was second (7.92) and Waquiem Comar was third (7.98).

Jason Zahn was third in the shot put (54-3.75) and Kyle Steinhauser was third in the weight throw (60-2.00).

In the unseeded pole vault, Grant Hay was first (14-7.25).
