High School: Nicholls earned first team All-Northern Ohio League laurels as a senior…he was also first team all-district…Nicholls had a school-record 73-yard punt and connected on 48 extra points…he played wide receiver, defensive back and handled the punting and kicking chores…he also starred in basketball where he averaged 17.0 ppg., and shot 40 percent from three-point range…Nicholls played on a Galion football team that went 10-0 and won a league title…the basketball team advanced to the regional finals.
