2011: Dottei emerged as one of AU's best defensive players...Dottei led the Eagles in interceptions...he had a career-high eight tackles (three solo) and two interceptions against Findlay (Oct. 29)...Dottei had six tackles (four solo), an interception and forced a fumble in the season opener at Bloomsburg (Sept. 1)...the pick against Bloomsburg was the first of his career...he had four games of six or more tackles...Dottei was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team (3.50 GPA or higher).
2010: Dottei was a regular contributor in the secondary and special teams…he played in all 11 games…Dottei had a team-leading seven stops (five solo) against Tiffin (Oct. 9)...he also had a fumble recovery against the Dragons…against Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 22) he had six tackles (four solo) and a pass breakup…Dottei was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team as an integrated math major, that squad is reserved for players with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
2009: Dottei notched a season-high seven tackles (four solo/three assists) at home against Hillsdale (Sept. 26)…he was in on six tackles (three solo/three assisted) at Tiffin (Sept. 19)…Dottei also had a pass breakup against the Dragons…his final numbers would have been better, but the defensive back missed the last part of the season due to injury…the defensive back was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.
High School: At Toledo Whitmer High School, Dottei was a first team All-Toledo City selection his senior year…Dottei was named the conference’s co-player of the year…that same season, Dottei was first team All-Ohio and first team all-district…he was the district’s offensive player of the year…Dottei lettered three times in football and twice in baseball.
