College - During her junior season Hunter clocked a personal best in the 3K at the Kent State season opener with a time of 10:52. She ran a 40:12 during her first 10K race. As a sophomore, Hunter checked in with season bests in the 1500, 3K and 5K. She ran 5:14 for 5000 meters at the Kenyon Invite where she placed 11th. During the indoor season, those bests included 11:24 for the 3K at the Kent State Tune-up and 19:44.46 for the 5K at the GLIAC indoor championships. In 2011-12, Hunter ran a season best of 11:28.51 for 3000 meters at the GLIAC indoor championships. Hunter was redshirted during the outdoor season.

High School – Hunter ran a season best of 20:38 (5K) at the 2011 state meet, finishing 100th.   At the district track and field championships her senior season she finished 11th and recorded her best mark in the 1600 (5:33). Hunter has personal bests of 5:35 (1600) and 2:30 in the 800 where she finished third at the district championships.
