Baseball Ends Spring Trip With Loss To Timberwolves

In a non-conference matchup with Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Northwood on the last day of the Florida trip on Sunday (March 12), Ashland University's baseball team lost to the Timberwolves, 10-6.

Senior left-handed pitcher Mike Gentile took the loss in relief, allowing seven hits, three runs (one earned) and no walks and striking out five in 3 2/3 innings.

Northwood's Tyler Jandron improved to 4-0 on the young season after striking out nine and yielding six hits, four runs (one earned) and two walks over eight innings.
