High School - Borton was a member of numerous successful relays, including a state champion 4X8 quartet where she ran a 2:16 split. Her senior year, she split 58 seconds for 400 meters when her relay earned All-Ohio honors. She ran a personal best of 2:18.16 in the open 800 when she finished first at the 2012 district championships.
