Yasmim Tomita has been named a second-team NCAA Division II Scholar All-American by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Second-team selections must have earned a 3.5 grade-point average or higher and met an NIC "A" time standard in Division I or an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III, and NAIA.

Tomita, an Analytics major, sports a 3.97 cumulative grade-point average through the 2026 spring semester. This past season, she broke the program record in the women's 200-yard backstroke (2:02.47).

In 2025-26, the Eagle swimming and diving teams finished second (men) and third (women), respectively, at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference/Mountain East Championships. Three Ashland divers – seniorÂ
