Day 1 Wrap: AU Women's Golf Performance at the G-MAC Championships

The Eagles Are Competing in the Conference Championships in Indiana

Through Day 1 of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference women's golf championships, the Eagles are in second place.

Currently, the University of Findlay Oilers are 26 strokes ahead of Ashland, sporting a total of 583 at +15. The Eagles are +41 at a mark of 609, all while Northwood, Tiffin and Walsh trail in the three, four and five spots.

Individually, Findlay controls the top four spots, while Ashland's Zoe Mort is tied for fifth with Walsh's Sydney Hugo at 150, +8. The rest of the Eagles' flock includes Gracyn Vidovic (150, +10), Klaira Paramore (156, +14), LeeAnn Harker (156, +14) and Anna Machamer (156, +14). All of Ashland's athletes are within the Top 20. 

The Eagles will be right back in action on Friday, April 17, for Day 2 of the championships.
