The second round of the NCAA Division II East Regional on Tuesday (May 6) at The Meadows at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich., saw Ashland University's women's golf team move up five spots to No. 12 in the 18-team field.
Through the first 36 holes, the top five teams (top five advance to D-II nationals) are Grand Valley State (290-298—588), Findlay (296-296—592), Tiffin (306-311—617), Missouri St-Louis (312-310-622) and Indianapolis (306-318—624). The Eagles are at 330-307—637, moving from 18 strokes out of fifth through the first round to 13 out through the second round.
Making a move up the individual leaderboard on Tuesday was sophomore

th place following a second-day 71 (83-71—154, five total birdies, four in Round 2).
