Ohio Dominican's NC4K Classic started on Monday (April 7) with nearly a round and a half of play, and at the end, Ashland University's women's golf team was in third place in the mostly-Midwest Region 16-team field.
The Eagles were 36 strokes over par at the end of Monday's action. Ferris State is the team leader at 21-over, and Grand Valley State is second at 24-over.

LeeAnn Harker and junior
Klaira Paramore lead the AU charge after Day 1, both tied for eighth place individually at 8-over par through seven holes in the second round. Both have one birdie so far in the tournament.

Grace Grant is tied for 28
th at 12-over through six holes in the second round (one birdie).
