Women’s Golf Opens UMSL Spring Invite In Sixth Place Through 36 Holes

The last 2024-25 regular-season tournament for Ashland University's women's golf team started on Sunday (April 13), and the Eagles finished the first 36 holes of the Missouri-St. Louis Spring Invitational in sixth place in the 18-team all-Midwest Region event.
 
Ashland's first-day team score was 304-316—620. The host Tritons are in front (288-292—580), Indianapolis is second (304-292—596), and Tiffin is third (301-302—603).
 
Sophomore LeeAnn Harker is tied for 18th individually after the first two rounds, is 76-77—153, and ended the day with six birdies – including four in a five-hole stretch in Round 2.
 
Senior Grace Grant is tied for 20th (74-80—154, three birdies), and fellow senior Emma Conway sits in a tie for 32nd (78-79—157, four birdies).
 
Sophomore Riley McKenzie's first day featured an eagle on hole No. 5 in the first round, and two birdies. She is tied for 36th (76-82—158). Junior Klaira Paramore is tied for 55th (81-80—161, three birdies).
