Ashland University's women's golf team played the second and final round of the five-team Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite in Orange Park, Fla., on Thursday (March 6), ending in third place.
The Eagles' final team score was 320-332—652. Siena won the team title at 314-321—635, while the host Pioneers were runner-up at 317-324—641.
Ashland's top player during the event was freshman
LeeAnn Harker, who finished in fifth place individually at 77-84—161 and with one birdie. Junior
Klaira Paramore tied for sixth at 83-79—162 and with one birdie.
Senior
Emma Conway ended at 81-83—164 and in a tie for 11
th (three birdies), senior
Grace Grant tied for 14
th at 79-86—165 (one birdie), and sophomore
Riley McKenzie was 30
th at 85-92—177.
Playing as an individual was freshman
Sammi Miller, who tied for 19
th at 84-85—169.
