One of the best team rounds in program history helped Ashland University women's golf to a fourth-place slot after the first two rounds of the 16-team Midwest Ladies Collegiate on Monday (Sept. 9) in Peru, Ind..
The Eagles' first-round 295 is the third-lowest in program history – only bested by a 290 in 2014-15 and a 294 in 2023-24. Ashland ended the day at 295-309–604, as Findlay has the team lead (298-283–581) and Central Missouri is second (301-299–600).
Sophomore
Riley McKenzie and junior
Klaira Paramore paced the AU Day 1 effort. McKenzie was 72-78—150, and Paramore 74-76—150, as both are tied for 11
th place individually.
Senior
Emma Conway is right behind Ashland's pacesetters, and is tied for 13
th at 74-77—151.

- Sophomore LeeAnn Harker is tied for 18th (75-78—153), while senior Grace Grant is tied for 48th (80-83—163).
- Playing as an individual was freshman Dakota Riley, who is tied for 55th (83-82—165).
- The Purple team played its first round at the University of Charleston Invitational on Monday, and is in seventh place in the 15-team field.
- Freshman Sammi Miller is tied for 22nd individually after an opening-round 82.
