The strong start to 2024-25 has continued for Ashland University's women's golf team, as the Eagles followed a fourth-place finish at the Midwest Ladies Collegiate with a second-place showing at the 15-team Ohio Dominican Champions of Women's Golf.
Finishing the 36-hole event on Tuesday (Sept. 17), Ashland carded 305-296—601, two stokes behind champion Tiffin (302-297—599). The second-round 296 is the fourth-best round in Eagle women's golf history – a week after an opening-round 295 in Indiana, which is the third-best team score for an AU women's golf team.
Three Eagles finished in the top five individually in Columbus. Sophomore
Riley McKenzie was fourth at 78-70—148, with the second-round 70 being a career low and tied for the fourth-lowest round in program history.
Both junior
Klaira Paramore (73-79—149) and senior
Grace Grant (76-73—149) tied for fifth on the individual leaderboard.
