The No. RV Ashland University wrestling team concluded action at the 45
th Annual Midwest Classic on Sunday (Dec. 15) in Indianapolis, Ind., with a pair of Eagle grapplers finishing in fourth place.

Nate Barrett, the No. 10-ranked wrestler in NCAA Division II at 165 pounds, took fourth place in Indy following a 4-2 weekend with a major decision.

At 197 pounds, senior
Kaine Morris finished the tournament at 6-2 with two pins, two technical falls and a major decision.

As a team, Ashland ended in 15
th place (61.5 team points) in the 43-team field – its best showing at the Midwest Classic since 2021 (11
th). Wisconsin-Parkside won with 147 team points, followed by Central Oklahoma (135) and Glenville State (127).
