The 2024-25 season has begun for the No. 25-ranked Ashland University wrestling team, and the Eagle grapplers finished in third place at the 13-team Glenville State Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 2).

Ashland finished with 126 team points – trailing only the host Pioneers (227) and Millersville (146.5).

Redshirt sophomore 184-pounder
Peyton Lemon led the Eagle charge by ending in second place and going 4-1 with a pin and major decision on the day.
- Sophomore Hayden Kuhn was third at 149 pounds (3-1, major decision).
- Freshman Lance Overmyer took third at 157 pounds (3-1, major decision).
- Senior Kaine Morris finished third at 197 pounds (3-1, three pins).
- Sophomore Braden Welch was fourth at 184 pounds (4-1, two technical falls).
