No. 25 AU Grapplers Compete At Findlay Open

Ashland University's No. 25-ranked wrestling team took part in the Findlay Open on Saturday (Nov. 16).
 
At 184 pounds, sophomore Braden Welch finished in second place after going 4-1 with a major decision. Another underclassman, freshman Lance Overmyer, was third at 157 after ending 5-1 with two pins and two major decisions.
 
Sophomore Hayden Kuhn took fifth at 149 pounds (5-1, one pin, one major decision), while junior 165-pounder Nate Barrett took sixth (5-2, one pin, two technical falls, two major decisions).
