The second tournament of 2024-25 for the No. 25-ranked Ashland University wrestling team was Sunday's (Nov. 10) Bob Del Rosa Open in Cleveland, Ohio.

In the open division, the Eagles took fourth in the 32-team field. Junior
Nate Barrett led the way with a second-place finish, as he was 3-1 with three technical falls at 165 pounds.

Junior
Wyatt Bailey went 2-1 and finished third at 285 pounds, and both senior
Kaine Morris (3-1, two pins, major decision at 197 pounds) and junior
Sevriano Garza (4-1, three major decisions at 174 pounds) were fifth at their respective weight classes.

In the freshman/sophomore division, Ashland was 13
th out of 28 teams. Sophomore
Kane Epperly finished second at 165 pounds (4-1, tech fall, major decision), and sophomore
Reese Redman was third at 197 pounds (2-1, pin, major decision).
