Eagles Face Home Setback Against Lakers

Ashland University's women's tennis team lost to Mercyhurst, 6-1, on Sunday (Feb. 23) afternoon.

Senior Brianna Brdicka was the lone Eagle to win a match on the day. Brdicka won her No. 4 singles match in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4.

The Eagles did not manage to win a match in doubles play, or any other sets in singles competition.

AU's next match is slotted for Saturday (Sept. 29) at Southern Indiana at 3:30 p.m.
