Ashland University graduate Malcolm Majesky is in his fifth year as the Eagle athletic program’s Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Majesky is a member of the AU Class of 2010, and was a two-time team captain on the Eagle track and field team as a thrower. He also earned a Master of Physiology degree from Ashland in 2012, and was an assistant strength coach and classroom instructor at AU during his time as a graduate student.
In 2015, Majesky was the recipient of the Ashland University Exercise Science Department Alumni of the Year Award.
Prior to returning to Ashland, Majesky was an Athletic Conditioning Specialist at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center for more than two years. In that role, he was a contracted head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ohio Dominican University, working with the football and women’s soccer programs, and Olentangy Orange High School. Majesky was responsible for designing and carrying out exercise routines and also providing functional movement screens for 800 college and high school athletes in 17 sports.
Majesky also has worked as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist for the United States Army, as a personal trainer at the Ashland YMCA and as a full-time summer intern for the National Football League’s Cleveland Browns.
Majesky is married to Abby, Ashland's assistant track and field coach for jumps/multis. Abby gave birth to a daughter, Penelope, in April of 2016, and another daughter, Olivia, in July of 2018.
