Chris Beck is in his first season as Ashland University's equipment coordinator.
Beck has seven years of experience in equipment at the collegiate and professional levels, including one as a full-time equipment manager in 2018-19 at Case Western Reserve. At CWR, Beck managed all aspects of athletics equipment and maintenance for 19 varsity sports, and served more than 500 student-athletes.
He was a full-season equipment intern (2016) and equipment training camp intern (2015) with the National Football League's Cleveland Browns, and spent four years as a student equipment manager at his alma mater, the University of Mount Union.
Beck obtained his certification through the Athletic Equipment Manager's Association (AEMA) in July of 2019.
He is a 2016 graduate of Mount Union.
