The goal of the strength and conditioning staff at Ashland University is to provide comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for all student-athletes based on the latest research.

We are constantly connecting with some of the top individuals in our profession and reading the most current research journals and books on different training methodologies to provide the athlete with the best of what our field has to offer. 

Our goal is to make our athletes stronger, faster, more mobile, better conditioned, reduce the risk for injury, maintain a higher level of focus, and be accountable to their coaches, teammates and professors. While at Ashland, student-athletes can expect to be educated on all aspects of fitness, not only as a varsity athlete, but also for when they obtain their degree and are out in the real world.

We believe through doing this that it gives us a better advantage to be competitive on the field and in life.
