For the second time in as many days, Ashland University senior right-side hitter Alli Cudworth has earned an All-Midwest Region honor.

On Tuesday (Nov. 29), it was first-team all-region from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). On Wednesday (Nov. 30), it was first-team all-region from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) – Cudworth's third AVCA regional award of her career.

Cudworth, who became the first AU player to earn four first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors earlier this fall, has recorded 470 kills, 57 service aces, 387 digs and 64 total blocks going into Thursday's (Dec. 1) NCAA Division II Midwest Regional quarterfinal against Lewis at 2:30 p.m. at Ferris State University.

On Nov. 19, Cudworth became the third player in program history to record 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs. With 1,721 career kills, she is fourth on Ashland's all-time list.
