Huskies, Boilermakers Down Eagles

            It was a rough afternoon for the AU wrestling team on Sunday (Jan. 19) at Kates Gymnasium. The Eagles fell to Northern Illinois, 36-6 and Purdue, 50-0. Both of these opponents compete on the Division I level.

            AU's lone victory of the day came at 285 pounds against Northern Illinois. Tyler Houska pinned Arthur Bunce in 3:12.

            At 184 pounds, junior Bryson Hall sustained his first loss of the season. Caleb Busson of Northern Illinois won in overtime against Hall, 4-2. Hall is 14-1.

            The Eagles are 5-6 in dual meets.
