Ashland University Fastbreak Club memberships for the 2018-19 season are now open.
The AU women's basketball program's booster club, formed in 2016, provides and maximizes opportunities for women's basketball team members while creating a community of support. Membership shall be open to any person who subscribes to the purpose and function of the club.
"The Fastbreak Club has truly been able to enhance the experience that our student-athletes are able to have as a part of Ashland University women's basketball," said head coach Kari Pickens. "We want our girls to have a phenomenal experience while a part of this program, because we expect a phenomenal effort out of each player. The Fastbreak Club aides in allowing us to provide that experience for our student-athletes."
Membership levels are Home Team Level ($100-249), Coach's Level ($250-499), Elite 8 Level ($500-999), Final 4 Level ($1,000-1,999) and National Championship Level ($2,000 or more). Details on each of those levels are available on the membership form, at the above PDF link.
In 2017-18, Ashland's women were 36-1 overall and 20-0 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles were the NCAA Division II runner-up, and winners of GLIAC regular-season, GLIAC Tournament and Midwest Regional tournament championships. In the last seven seasons, Ashland has two national titles, two national finalist finishes, and an overall record of 217-24 (.900).
