14 Individuals, Two Relays Earn Trip To Indoor Nationals

Fourteen individuals and two relays - for a total of 19 athletes - will represent Ashland University's No. 1 men's and No. 15 women's indoor track and field teams at 2017 NCAA Division II nationals, March 9-11 in Birmingham, Ala.

Leading the Eagle contingent will be sophomore Myles Pringle, who will compete in the 200-meter dash, 400 dash, high jump and as part of the 4x400 relay team. Junior Daniel Roberts, in his first season in the program, will go in the shot put and weight throw, as will senior Megan Tomei on the women's side.

- Bryn Campbell, senior - weight throw

- Jordan Crayon, senior - weight throw

- Nick Hall, senior - mile run

- Alex Hill, freshman - weight throw

- Myles Pringle, sophomore - 200 dash, 400 dash and high jump

- Daniel Roberts, junior - shot put and weight throw

- Elijah Talk, junior - shot put

- Jason Zahn, senior - shot put

- Nick Zak, freshman - weight throw

- 4x400 relay - senior Columbus Millet, sophomore Devin Snowden, freshman Paul Murray and Pringle

- Distance medley relay - junior Hunter Heaton, Murray, sophomore Tyler Sievert and Hall

 

ASHLAND WOMEN'S NATIONAL QUALIFIERS

- Samantha Duale, sophomore - 60 dash

- Natalie Helenthal, sophomore - weight throw

- Amber Otermat, freshman - pole vault

- Megan Tomei, senior - shot put and weight throw
