Ashland University's men's outdoor track and field team has climbed back to the top spot in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings, released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday (May 5).

The Eagle men are the top-ranked team in the country for the second time this season and the third time this decade.

AU's women's outdoor track and field team is ranked No. 8 in the country. This is the fourth consecutive week the Eagle women have been in the top 10.

Ashland is one of four Division II programs (Saint Augustine's, Pittsburg State and Grand Valley State) with both teams in the top eight in this week's poll.

AU's athletes looking to improve their nationals-qualifying standing will compete at "last chance meets" at Aquinas on Wednesday (May 6), Toledo and Hillsdale on Thursday (May 7), and Akron and Grand Valley State on Friday (May 8) and Saturday (May 9).
