Windle, Nageotte Compete At Friday's Championships

Ashland University's Drew Windle finished 14th on Friday (June 27) in the semifinals of the 800 meters at the United States Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

Windle's time on Friday was 1:50.63. He did not advance to Saturday's finals.

Windle will be a senior in 2014-15. He has won four national championships in the 800.

Former AU standout Katie Nageotte competed in the women's pole vault on Friday. Her best jump was 14-1.25. Jenn Suhr won the gold medal with a leap of 15-1.
