    Ashland University’s athletic program ended the 2016-17 season 34th in the annual NCAA Division II Learfield Directors’ Cup standings, as announced on Thursday (June 8) morning. Two-hundred and sixty eight Division II programs were ranked in the final 2016-17 standings.

    On Wednesday (June 7) afternoon, Ashland University junior swimmer Grace Reichard was named a third-team College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American, At-Large. In garnering that honor, Reichard made some history for herself, the Eagle swimming and diving program and the AU athletic department as a whole.

  • Reventlow Swims To Take Advantage Of A Disadvantage

    Peter Reventlow's legs were not officially even in length until months after his senior season of high school swimming at Gahanna Lincoln - not even a full calendar year ago. Reventlow, a freshman on Ashland University's swimming and diving team, was born with a rare defect known as congenital focal deficiency, which is commonly linked with the absence or shortening of a leg bone. In Reventlow's case, he was born without a growth plate in his left femur.
