Senior center fielder Taylor Menhart and junior first baseman Jen Moore have earned first- and second-team honors, respectively, in the Midwest Region from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
Menhart completed her collegiate career with a stellar 2015 season, posting a .415 batting average with 47 runs scored, 16 doubles, eight triples, eight home runs, 42 RBIs, seven stolen bases, an on-base percentage of .497 and a slugging percentage of .767. Earlier this spring, she earned first-team All-Midwest Region from Daktronics, first-team All-Capital One Academic District 4 and first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors.
Moore had a breakout junior campaign, hitting. 390 with 11 doubles, 10 home runs, 43 RBIs, an on-base percentage of .457 and a slugging percentage of .669. Her other 2015 accolades include second-team All-Midwest Region from Daktronics and first-team All-GLIAC.
