The Ashland University men's basketball program launched the 212 Club, the program's exclusive booster club, on Tuesday (Oct. 10).

The 212 Club's purpose is to help the AU men's basketball program become a proud, positive, and visible part of the Ashland community and be the extra degree needed to help the team reach its degree.

"Our program is excited to launch the 212 Club," said AU head coach John Ellenwood, who is entering his ninth season. "This would not be possible without the support of the Ashland community, our administration and the players' efforts that have helped our team reach new heights."

The club provides special assistance in the areas of team travel, recruiting and equipment for the AU men's basketball program. Membership is open for anyone subscribing to the purpose of the dream of the 212 Club.

To become a member of the 212 Club, fans can go to the 212 Club website and fill out an online form, or print out a brochure and return it to the Ashland University Office of Development.

For questions regarding the 212 Club, fans can contact AU men's basketball assistant coach Max Pendery at 419.289.5461.
