After each Ashland University football game in 2016, Ohio Health will announce a Player of the Game.
On Saturday, Oct. 15, the No. 11-ranked Eagles earned a 63-6 win at Lake Erie to improve to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Sophomore defensive tackle James Prater Jr. filled up the stat sheet with six total tackles (three solo), one sack, 1.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery to earn the Week 7 Ohio Health Player of the Game award.
