2015: Perhaps the Eagles' most versatile player...Was AU's first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference punter, No. 2 quarterback and, at the end of the season, No. 2 tight end...Averaged a GLIAC-best and program-record 45.6 yards on 34 punts while going 8-for-15 for 75 yards, one touchdown and one interception as a passer...Also ran six times for 22 yards...Earned GLIAC special teams Player of the Week on Sept. 21.
2014: Backup quarterback who also doubled as the Eagles' punter...Was 7-for-11 as a passer for 59 yards and an interception, and ran 10 times for 30 yards...Averaged 34.8 yards per punt, including a long of 68 yards...A third of Bruns' 24 punts were fair caught.
2013: Started the first four games and played in the first five contests as a true freshman...Finished the season 34-for-53 (64.2 percent) for 295 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions...Threw first touchdown pass at home against Northern Michigan (Sept. 28), a 9-yard score to tight end Matt Schweitzer...Scored his only rushing touchdown of the season in the season-opener at Indianapolis, an 8-yard scamper.
