Meder is recognized as one of the top defensive linemen in the country…combined with Jeris Pendleton a year ago to give Ashland one of the top inside combinations in the nation…has been cited as a preseason All-Amercia by D2football.com.

2010: Meder was recognized as the GLIAC freshman of the year, he’s the only AU player to ever receive that award…was named first team All-GLIAC…reached his career high of seven tackles twice…had seven stops (three solo) with three tackles for loss and two sacks (15 yards) against Bloomsburg…finished with seven tackles (one solo) with a sack at Indianapolis (Sept. 11)…posted six tackles (three solo) against nationally-ranked Hillsdale (Sept. 18)…paced the Eagles in sacks and tackles for loss…tied for 10^th in the GLIAC in sacks and tied for 12^th in tackles for loss.

High School: As a senior, was named first team all-conference and was tabbed the defensive player of the year…was named second team All-Ohio…lettered four times in wrestling and three times in football…is the son of Don and Karen Meder.
