Eagle Baseball Remains Sixth In Midwest Regional Rankings

Ashland University's baseball team remains in the sixth spot in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional rankings, as the third and final version of those rankings were released on Wednesday (May 6) afternoon.

The Eagles are 33-15 overall and won both the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's overall regular-season championship and the conference's first-ever South Division title.

The top six teams in each region play in the NCAA postseason. The 2015 NCAA Division II baseball tournament selection show will be Sunday (May 10) at 10 p.m. on NCAA.com.

Ashland will open GLIAC Tournament play on Thursday (May 7) at 2 p.m. against Wayne State at Athletes in Action Sports Complex in Xenia, Ohio.
