AU Baseball Fifth In Initial Midwest Region Rankings Of 2015

Ashland University's baseball team is fifth in the initial 2015 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional rankings, released on Wednesday (April 22).

The Eagles, 27-11 and ranked 21st in the country, are seeking their 17th NCAA postseason appearance, and their first since 2013.

The top six teams in each region play in the NCAA postseason.

Ashland will return to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division play on Saturday (April 25) and Sunday (April 26) in a four-game set at Malone.
