Baseball Picked Third In GLIAC Poll

The AU baseball team has been picked to finish third in the GLIAC in 2014. The 2014 GLIAC Coaches' Poll was released by the conference office on Wednesday night.

Grand Valley State received eight first place votes and 118 total points and is the choice to win the league. Wayne State is second with two first place votes and 106 points. Ashland also received two first place votes and has 101 points.

The Eagles are currently on their spring trip in Florida. They are 5-2.

AU was 37-19 last season and won the GLIAC Tournament for the first time in program history. The Eagles ended the regular season ranked first in the region and advanced to the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.
