The Ashland University baseball team dropped a 7-2 decision to Seton Hill on Friday (Mar. 9) in Auburndale, Fla.  The loss leaves the Eagles with a 6-3 record.

Junior right-hander Garrett Lovik (Flint, Mich./Mott C.C.) gave the Eagles a strong start. He pitched into the ninth inning and allowed five runs on four hits. Unfortunately for the Eagles, they failed to generate much at the plate.  They were limited to five hits.

Ashland plays GLVC foe Indianapolis on Saturday (Mar. 10, 1 p.m.). AU has two games left on its Florida trip.
