Baseball Schedule Changed at SVSU; Twinbills Scheduled for Fri./Sun.

ASHLAND, Ohio – Due to forecasted rain in central Michigan on Saturday (April 16) afternoon, the Ashland University baseball schedule has been rearranged for the coming weekend.


Ashland was scheduled to play doubleheaders at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday and Sunday (April 17). With the rain in the forecast for Saturday, the Eagles and Cardinals will now play a doubleheader on Friday (April 15) at 2 p.m. The teams will finish the series with their regularly-scheduled doubleheader on Sunday, which will begin at 12 p.m.


The Eagles (18-11, 7-7 GLIAC) have won six of their last seven games and are coming off a doubleheader sweep over Mount Vernon Nazarene on Tuesday (April 12). The Cardinals (13-15, 8-8 GLIAC) are riding a three-game winning streak after beating Alma and sweeping a doubleheader over Wayne State on Wednesday (April 13).
